Midsummer celebration
Midsummer around Siljan is considered by many to be the most genuine way that Sweden can be presented. Here there is everything from 20,000 people watching the "Complete Swedish
Midsummer Celebration" at Gropen in Leksand to informal village celebrations on an intimate scale to which everyone is welcome. The raising of the Maypole and associated

Dalhalla
Considered to be one of the world's most beautiful open-air arenas; concerts are held here from May to September. The dramatic stage, set in the interesting geological
environment of an old limestone quarry, really stimulates the imagination. During the summer about 30 concerts are staged here. Even without an event in progress, Dalhalla is an
experience. There are guided tours in the summer season, but the site is closed in the winter.
It is about 30 minutes drive from Leksand Strand.
